I made this song up over time singing my son to sleep. I think I started trying to remember if their were any words to Brahms' Lullaby (a melody which I still hum to my kids) but wrote my own melody when these words started to take shape.

I'm sure most parents can relate to the journey of not being sure if their child is sleepy or not, and then the often lengthy task of convincing the child that they are sleepy and need to sleep.
